The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across designated routes. *Duties*
* Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and accuracy.* Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.* Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road.* Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, tachograph regulations, and health & safety standards.
*Qualifications*
* Valid HGV licence with relevant categories for flatbed and commercial driving.* Proven experience, preferably with flatbed or similar specialised vehicles.* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.* Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.* Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism.* Prior experience with delivery driver roles is highly desirable. xwzovoh This position offers an engaging career path for dedicated drivers committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent service delivery within the logistics sector.* Clean license with no more than 6 points
