FLT Driver / Crane Operator

Overview

We are currently recruiting for FLT Drivers/ Crane Operators to join an busy Manufacturing Engineering client based in Oldham on a permanent basis. Positions available on permanent day shift. These positions have been created due to company growth.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished products around the shop floor using a FLT (Counterbalance) and overhead crane.
• General cleaning and tidiness within the workshop area.
• Assist to load and unload deliveries.
• Supply materials to work benches in preparation for the welder/fabricators/machinists.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Operate overhead cranes.

Skills / Experience Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Confident with manual handling and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting.
• Hold in-date Counterbalance license.
• Experience in operating overhead cranes; qualifications are advantageous.
