A leading international insights agency specialising in complex, multi‑market qualitative fieldwork is seeking a Head of Qualitative Project Management to lead and elevate its entire qualitative delivery function. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced qual environments and brings calm structure, operational rigour and strong leadership to high‑stakes fieldwork.
The Role
You will take ownership of the full qualitative operations function, ensuring projects run smoothly across multiple countries, time zones and audience types. You’ll bring clarity, discipline and scalable processes to a team delivering fast‑paced, multi‑market qualitative research.
- Lead end‑to‑end multi‑market qual delivery
- Own feasibility, scoping and operational planning
- Oversee screeners and quotas, recruitment strategy and quality control
- Manage supplier relationships and build structured vendor processes
- Coach and develop PMs and PEs, raising delivery standards
- Troubleshoot live qualitative fieldwork across markets and methodologies
- Drive workflow optimisation, capacity planning and operational improvement
- Act as senior client‑facing lead on timelines, governance and delivery discipline
What You Must Bring
- Strong international qualitative fieldwork experience
- Proven B2B qualitative market research experience (business decision‑makers, professionals, niche audiences)
- Confidence managing complex multi‑market programmes
- Experience overseeing respondent recruitment, suppliers and moderators
- A calm, organised, delivery‑focused style
- Leadership experience within qualitative operations or project management
- Operational mindset: process improvement, scalable delivery, workflow structure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
