What You’ll Do No two days are ever the same. As a Children’s Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver trauma-informed care to ensure young people feel safe and supported
- Build strong, positive, and trusting relationships
- Encourage healthy routines and develop essential life skills
- Support education, prepare meals, and attend appointments
- Advocate for young people, ensuring their voices are heard and valued
- Transport young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle
- Help them move forward with confidence, stability, and hope
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (agency role) An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential-comprehensive training will be provided.
