Justteachers is inviting a passionate Science specialist to join a premier secondary school in Warwick. This full-time position begins in September 2026 and offers a long-term placement for the full academic year. Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics, while fostering a safe laboratory environment
- Supervise practical experiments, demonstrate scientific techniques, manage the safe handling of chemicals, and ensure laboratory safety regulations are strictly followed
- Set, mark, and evaluate student work, including tests, assignments, and reports to monitor progress and provide feedback
- Set clear behavioral expectations and maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Science to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two references we are able to apply for, desirably from an educational setting
