Overview

Daytime Hours Chef position in Leamington Spa. Part-time or full-time considered. Hours are 8am – 4pm, with 40 hours per week and paid breaks. The role is based at a busy café/restaurant that serves Cypriot Greek dishes; the venue operates daytime hours and is closed on Sundays and Mondays for better work-life balance. A free meal on shift, local parking, and 28 days of paid annual leave are included.

Salary: around £13.00 – £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Cypriot/Greek dishes using fresh ingredients, while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
• Work efficiently in a busy kitchen as part of a small, friendly team (approximately 12 staff).
• Adapt to menu variations and daily specials, contributing ideas where appropriate.
• Ensure proper food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver consistent, tasty meals within scheduled hours.
• Maintain a reliable and positive work ethic, adhering to the daytime schedule and break policy.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef or in a kitchen environment. Entry-level candidates with great initiative and a passion for cooking are welcome.
• Prior experience with Greek cuisine is not required; training is available for the right candidate.
• Reliable, friendly, and able to work daytime hours; comfortable in a small team.
