A specialist SEN setting in Richmond upon Thames is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a hands‑on SEN role for someone confident supporting pupils with more complex needs. The school needs someone caring, resilient and confident working with pupils who may require communication support, sensory support, personal care or structured routines.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP‑linked needs
• Help pupils access learning and daily routines
• Work closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff
• Provide consistent, patient and reliable support

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN, care, support work, school or youth work
• Comfortable with practical support
• Patience, resilience and strong communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and consistent throughout the day

Pay: £95 – £120 per day

Location: Richmond upon Thames (TW1 3BZ)
