As a Welder / Fabricator with us at Brooks Engineering, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of products, including, structural steelwork, vehicle components and bespoke customer requests.
*Duties and Responsibilities.*
* Marking up of material. * Fabrication of a variety of materials. * Welding of aluminium, mild and stainless steels. * MIG / TIG Welding. * Operating machinery and hand tools. * Assembly of products and vehicle bodies. * Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety regulations. * Suggesting and implementing ways to improve processes.
The successful applicant must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and show a keen eye to detail. Be self motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management and a full UK driving license are also essential.
Previous experience working for a Lean thinking company is advantageous but not necessary.
Pay dependant on experience.
