Warehouse Supervisor – Walker Park, Blackburn

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the distribution centre and leading a team of operatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the efficient performance of all operational activities to deliver high standards
• Ensuring an adherence to health and safety requirements
• Achieving specified KPIs
• Supporting the Shift Managers in the day‑to‑day operational tasks associated with the shift
• Supporting a positive and value‑driven culture
• Ensuring the shift is operationally fully compliant with all work instructions
• Managing, coaching and developing a team of operatives

About You

• Ability to work the full range of shift patterns
• Credible supervisor with previous experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent people manager, able to manage performance and employee relations in a fair and consistent manner
• Able to motivate and develop a team
• Proactive and solution focused
