Cover Supervisor – Whitmore Park Primary School

We have the following permanent vacancy available to start on 1st September 2026.

The role will be primarily to lead planned learning with individuals, groups, or whole classes of pupils in a Teaching Assistant or Teacher’s absence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading planned learning with individuals, groups, or whole classes in the absence of a Teaching Assistant or Teacher.
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers to deliver good and outstanding classroom practice.
  • Supporting learners to progress by providing effective learning and high quality feedback.
  • Inspiring and motivating children, ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of working in partnership with class teachers to deliver effective classroom practice.
  • Good understanding of effective learning, quality feedback, and learner progress.
  • Passion for teaching and learning with a commitment to high quality outcomes.
  • Good subject knowledge and understanding of KS1 and KS2.
