Overview
We have a maternity cover vacancy available to join the team at Redfield Edge for a lunchbreak supervisor. This is a temporary cover role starting 13 February 2026 to 18 February 2027 covering maternity leave.
Role / responsibilities
- Supervising the children in the lunch hall, playground and field
- Setting up and cleaning away the tables/chairs
- Leading games/activities in our play zones
- You will provide first aid to pupils and occasionally help serve food
Qualifications & attributes
- Enjoys working with children
- Motivated team player
- Good communicator
- Caring, flexible and enthusiastic
- Experienced working in an education or care setting looking after children (not essential)
Training
Training for First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene will be available.
Working hours & pay
Time: 12 – 1.30pm Monday – Friday; Term Time Only
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Pay Scale: MPT 2.3 £25106 FTE Actual Pro rata Pay £4265 per annum
