Overview

Responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of activities to support systems associated with the University’s impact and knowledge exchange activities and automate workflows.
  • Develop and extend existing systems and processes that support the impact and knowledge exchange ecosystem, working with the Impact and Knowledge Exchange teams and other university groups.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the data relating to impact and knowledge exchange and its relationship with university systems.
  • Provide systems and process support for assessment initiatives such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF) and the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF).

Experience and Skills

Strong experience and understanding of Microsoft 365 software such as Power Apps, Power Automate flows, SharePoint, Lists, Forms, etc., and a desire to learn new software quickly. The role requires an adaptable communication style to suit different disciplines and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the University.

Work Environment

  • The University is supportive of hybrid working, with some work undertaken on campus and some remotely. Hybrid work is encouraged where role requirements allow.
  • Onsite attendance is required at Old Schools, and details will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Flexible arrangements such as part‑time work (min 80%) are welcomed.
