NextPharma is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the evolution and enhancement of our EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) function across the Sites and the Group. This is a dual leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and hands‑on technical expertise. (remote-role)

Role Overview

The Global EHS Manager will be responsible for:

EHS Leadership: Developing, implementing, and continuously improving EHS programs to ensure compliance with national and European legislation while advancing NextPharma’s safety & sustainability goals.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain Group‑wide EHS policies, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, REACH, CLP, and other environmental legislation).
  • Monitor legislative changes and lead implementation across sites.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Benchmark EHS practices against pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Drive adoption of EHS tools and systems for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of staff.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and facilitate regular networking forums with local EHS managers.
