Senior Rail Hardware Engineer – FPGA/ Firmware Lead (On-Site)

Alstom in Hatfield is seeking a senior hardware design and development lead to drive the hardware and firmware strategy for railway signalling control systems. You will manage design plans, collaborate with software, and oversee obsolescence management and firmware migrations to newer devices.

You will also help to document industrial PC configurations and support PLM transitions. A strong emphasis on quality, testability and process adherence is required to deliver robust, on-schedule solutions.
