Salary: £31,000 – 66,000 per year
Requirements
- Proficient in modern C++ with at least 1 year of commercial C++ experience
- Demonstrable interest in computer graphics, video decoding, or software testing
- Experience with automated test tools such as Google Test
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Linux operating systems
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Highly effective problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities
- Experience with Azure DevOps would be beneficial
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related subject
- Experience with Agile development and related tools
- Additional programming languages such as Python or PowerShell would be an advantage
- Legal right to work in the UK with eligibility covering a minimum of 2 years from the start of employment
Responsibilities
- Work as an integral member of our Software Development team
- Collaborate closely with developers throughout the development lifecycle
- Build a class‑leading test framework for professional video analysis and quality assurance
- Improve test coverage and identify defects early
- Help shape best practices across the team
- Contribute hands‑on automation to the quality of complex, graphics‑driven software
