- Shape the technical direction of the Stock Platform—help design and evolve the services, APIs, and event flows that power stock tracking across suppliers, distribution centres, stores and digital channels.
- Champion engineering excellence—write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code and help establish best practices across multiple teams.
- Drive operational excellence and observability—use tools such as Dynatrace to design for monitoring and alerting and participate in the support rota to ensure data remains accurate and available.
- Collaborate widely—work closely with Product Managers, cross‑functional engineering teams and other fulfilment teams to solve real business problems.
- Mentor and support colleagues—provide coaching and feedback to more junior engineers and foster an inclusive environment.

- Comfortable working in Azure and familiar with modern data processing and integration tools, including Kafka, SFTP, relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and Terraform.
