Primary Tutor
Locations: Hornsea, Bridlington & Driffield
Start Date: September 2026
Hourly Pay: £26 £35
GSL Education is seeking Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) to provide face‑to‑face tuition for primary‑aged pupils across Hornsea, Bridlington and Driffield.
We have a range of rewarding tuition opportunities available, supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other barriers to learning. Sessions are tailored to each individual, offering the opportunity to make a genuine difference to a child’s confidence, engagement and academic progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one‑to‑one or small group tuition to primary‑aged pupils.
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEND.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and a love of learning.
- Work flexibly around your availability, with a range of hours and placements available.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent).
- Experience teaching primary‑aged pupils.
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
