About You
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above
- Have a degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, English, Maths, or a related subject (desirable)
- Possess strong spoken English skills to support pupils, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and nurturing attitude
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about education, child development, and inclusive learning
- Have experience supporting children within EYFS and/or SEND settings (highly desirable)
- Be an aspiring teacher, educational psychologist, or SEN specialist
- Have the right to work in the UK
The Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and pupil wellbeing.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with phonics, literacy, numeracy, and language development
- Delivering targeted 1:1 and small‑group interventions
- Assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Supporting learning in Early Years through structured and play‑based activities
- Promoting positive social, emotional, and communication development
- Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
