Role Overview
The role involves supporting people to live active lives in the community, managing their daily living skills, facilitating their hobbies and interests and helping people realise their dreams. Person‑centred individualized care with a focus on Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) will be delivered.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals to live active lives in their community.
- Manage daily living skills.
- Facilitate hobbies and interests.
- Help people realise their dreams.
- Participate in a 2‑week induction on PBS, communication, behaviour, skills teaching and lifestyle support.
Development
- Staff will be funded to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care.
- A leadership pathway is available for those with the right ambition, skills and aptitude, progressing from Support Worker to Team Leader and beyond.
