Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, remote role , with occasional site visits, and on site coordination across the UK and further afield. You would be responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics and transport projects. This position includes planning and coordinating yacht transport, OOG, and breakbulk shipments, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule. The Project Manager will liaise with internal teams, external partners, and clients, monitor project progress, and address operational issues or risks as they arise. Daily tasks involve route planning, documentation review, status reporting, and continuous improvement of project processes. The role also requires supporting inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining clear communication channels with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to plan, execute, and monitor logistics projects.
- Hands-on logistics management capabilities, covering Logistics Management and route planning for complex freight and maritime operations.
- Relevant experience in freight forwarding, maritime logistics, or specialist projects, ideally including yacht transport or breakbulk/OOG cargo.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with project management and logistics software; familiarity with MS Office and industry-specific tools is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site occasionally and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
