In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, small improvements can make a massive difference to efficiency, quality, and overall performance. If you’re someone who enjoys getting stuck into processes, solving problems, and making production lines run better than ever, this Continuous Improvement role could be a great next step.
I’m looking for someone who’s naturally curious about how things work, confident working with production teams, and motivated by turning ideas into real, measurable improvements – while always keeping safety and quality at the forefront.
These positions have become available following a newly created CI Team. Combined with ongoing investment across the site and continued growth, this is a business that’s actively evolving and expanding. It’s an exciting time to join a team that’s focused on improvement, innovation, and long-term development.
Benefits:
- Healthy annual bonus!!
- 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Option to purchase extra holiday
- 4% employer pension contribution
- Life assurance
- Access to a flexible benefits platform
What the role involves:
You’ll report into the Continuous Improvement Manager and play a key role in improving how the factory operates day to day. The focus is on identifying inefficiencies, supporting change, and helping drive better performance across production.
You’ll work closely with teams across the site to understand current processes, highlight areas for improvement, and support the implementation of better, more effective ways of working. Strong communication and teamwork will be essential to making sure improvements are embedded and sustained.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Analysing production data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Working across departments to support and deliver change
- Ensuring best practice is followed across safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Sharing and standardising improvements across the site
- Coaching colleagues and supporting continuous improvement capability
- Investigating issues and identifying root causes
- Supporting training where issues are linked to process or human error
About you:
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (food, drink, FMCG, or pharmaceutical preferred)
- Exposure to continuous improvement or quality-focused work
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Green or Black Belt) desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Confident influencing others and driving improvements through to completion
- Experience in a CI role is ideal, though strong manufacturing experience and an improvement mindset will also be considered
