Lifeguard – Part Time – New Milton Health and Leisure Centre

Position Overview

A Lifeguard will help maintain a friendly, clean and safe environment for all customers, ensuring the Centre runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities. You will also provide all necessary training to maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications / Requirements

• NPLQ qualification, training can be provided
• Enhanced DBS check
• Ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
• Must be able to swim competently

Hours & Salary

Hours: 6.25 hours per week, Saturday (rota basis)

Salary: Up to £4,141 per annum
