Job Description

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team. In this role you will create and develop applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) on Windows and Linux operating systems that are used to communicate with embedded systems processing large quantities of data before returning it to the user.

All aspects of the full software development life cycle—including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and training—will be your responsibility. You will program to deliver robust, clean, high‑quality software applications; create functional designs and specifications; rigorously test through informal regression testing and unit tests; support user documentation; and review code written by peers, providing constructive feedback to ensure alignment with quality standards.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience programming and developing RESTful APIs for client‑server architecture.
  • Strong architectural skills and knowledge of C# and object‑oriented programming (OOP).
  • Understanding of software design patterns and data structures.
  • Familiarity with the Agile development cycle.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and a passion for producing high‑quality software with clean code.
  • Experience maintaining, extending, and amending existing software as well as creating new applications.
  • Capability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable

  • A science or engineering degree in Computer Science or Electronics.
  • Experience writing algorithms.
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as WPF.
  • Experience with web application frameworks such as ASP.NET.
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting.
