Are you an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) looking for a rewarding full-time or part-time role near Acle? This role offers competitive rates of £16.00 – £20.00 per hour, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, 1:1 care to a young service user. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
  • Manage and support tracheostomy care.
  • Deliver PEG feeding and care safely.
  • Monitor and manage seizure activity in line with care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed daily care records.
  • Provide companionship, engagement, and emotional support through activities such as stories, games, and singalongs.
  • Support the service user within their family home, promoting comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Job Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A caring, patient, and reliable nature.
  • Previous care experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn specialist clinical skills.
  • Ability to work both day shifts and waking night shifts.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.

Desirable Skills

In addition to the necessary job requirements, the following skills are desirable when working for Coyle Homecare:

  • Experience in complex care, particularly with tracheostomy or PEG feeding.
  • Understanding of seizure management.
