Technical Product Owner

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner with a strong focus on backlog management, delivery execution, and technical collaboration. The primary responsibility is to own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is clearly defined, prioritised, and delivery‑ready, while working closely with stakeholders, engineering, and QA teams. This role is execution‑focused, requiring hands‑on involvement in Agile delivery rather than product strategy or roadmap ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well‑defined, prioritised, and ready for delivery.
• Translate business and technical requirements into features, epics, and detailed user stories.
• Write clear, structured user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise backlog items in alignment with business needs, technical dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Strong Experience with Azure Cloud Lead and support Agile ceremonies, including: Sprint planning, Backlog refinement, Daily stand‑ups, Sprint reviews/Show & Tell sessions, Retrospectives, Forward planning/roadmap alignment sessions (delivery‑focused).
• Ensure requirements clarity and consistency throughout the development life cycle.
• Support delivery by resolving ambiguities, managing dependencies, and ensuring backlog readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on technical discussions, integrations and system‑related requirements.
