Internal Technical Sales Engineer – Industrial Electrical Control and Automation

Responsibilities
Provide sales and technical support to external customers, develop and maintain customer relationships, promote products and services to maximize sales opportunities, respond to product enquiries, liaise with Field Sales Engineers and other staff to achieve branch objectives, generate quotations, judge competitive situations, and engage in other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Relevant knowledge and experience demonstrated; optionally ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or other electrical engineering qualification
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Full clean driving licence
- Experience in a similar sales/customer service environment
- Background in electrical distribution or previous electrical engineering role an advantage
Requirements
Technical electrical knowledge and product application knowledge, commercial awareness, and customer and administrative skills.
Location
North of the Tyne area (North Shields, Whitley Bay, Wallsend, Longbenton, Jesmond, Cramlington, Blyth) – commute to office required.
