FIRE & SECURITY ENGINEER

We are a successful, family run Fire and Security business who have been trading for many years. We are looking for a Fire & Security Engineer who is willing to travel throughout the UK to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

Base salary negotiable depending on experience + call outs. Company vehicle, mobile phone and uniform provided.

Working hours are Monday to Friday plus covering weekends when on call.

Role & Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, fault‑finding, repair and installation of Intruder Alarms, Access Control systems, CCTV and Fire Alarms.
• Take part in out of hours call‑out rota.
• Cover the UK.

The Ideal Person

• Service‑based Engineer preferred, though multi‑skilled or installation engineers will also be considered.
• Experienced in intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarms.
• Good understanding of SSAIB and BAFE requirements.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Knowledge of a range of equipment – training can be provided if necessary on certain systems.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Good fault/problem‑solving skills.
