Technical Sales Manager

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to join the team in the UK. Working within the team you will be developing and selling technical solutions to major infrastructure projects and large contractors working alongside SIG teams and also independently for MCP Fixings.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver technical sales into new and existing accounts
  • Regularly engage with our customer base and also identifying and targeting new customers
  • Be part of new product development opportunities identifying niches in the market
  • Reading technical drawings and extract product opportunities
  • Working with a technical mind to offer correct products and solutions.

What you’ll bring

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proven customer management skills and experience in cold calling.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in a Construction Fixings environment
  • Able to deliver good quality customer service
  • Experience in sales-driven environments
  • IT literate
  • Knowledge of technical solutions and procedures for fixings and fasteners.
  • Be competent on site in front of engineers and contractors.
