Luma Education Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for exciting long-term supply and temp-to-perm opportunities within an impressive specialist SEN/SEMH school in Fakenham, Norfolk.
Whether you’re a Primary or Secondary ECT, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while receiving outstanding mentoring, specialist SEND training and ongoing professional development. Many of our long-term placements lead to permanent teaching positions.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for Primary or Secondary pupils with SEN, SEMH and additional learning needs.
- Build positive relationships that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work closely with experienced teachers, support staff and therapists.
- Follow individual learning plans and contribute to pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS before starting.
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching career.
- Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Positive, resilient and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
