Job Description:

Oxfam shops are community‑centred retail outlets that raise funds for our global mission to end poverty. Shop managers oversee day‑to‑day operations, leading volunteer teams and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for staff and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and lead a volunteer‑led team, delegating tasks and overseeing all shop activities.
  • Create a safe and energised work environment that meets Oxfam’s standards of empowerment, accountability and inclusiveness.
  • Drive business results by identifying new opportunities, maintaining retail processes, merchandising and merchandising standards.
  • Manage time and resources to meet conflicting priorities and achieve targets.
  • Use basic financial reports to monitor performance and inform decision‑making.
  • Maintain high commercial awareness, judgement and IT literacy to support shop operations.
  • Model Oxfam’s values, safeguarding and diversity commitments in all interactions.
