Overview

Social Worker – Advanced (Adults) (G10) – two-week contract based in Castleford. We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to contribute to adult social care services, supporting vulnerable individuals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults requiring social care services.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Work as part of the Adult Social Care Triage Team, prioritizing cases effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of casework.
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and service users.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, standards, and legislation affecting adult social care.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Worker within adult social care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and adult care legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a busy caseload.
• Valid social work qualification and registration.
