We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of technical and operational activities within our major project environment. This role works closely with the Project Manager and wider engineering team to ensure all project engineering takes, coordination efforts, and technical deliverables are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to expand their expertise in Project Engineering while contributing to high‑value, complex project outcomes.

Location – Various Locations

Work Rotation – Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do

  • Use your expertise to devise smart engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
  • Develop drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents.
  • Ensure efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer with particular focus on safety and quality.
  • Conduct site visits providing conceptual solutions for lifting operations.
  • Act as a point of contact for the customer and site operation team.
  • Ensure high levels of document quality and document control throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering‑related discipline (Masters in the same field desirable).
  • Experience working on large‑scale construction projects.
  • Relevant experience in heavy lift transport, shipping or lifting markets with evidence of delivering targets.
  • Experience with lifting operations using mobile cranes, tower cranes and crawler cranes.
  • Client‑facing experience as an Engineer.
  • Experience with technical codes and standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (MathCAD desirable) & Microsoft Suite.
  • Quality and detail focused with the approach of “Right the first time.”
