Our client, a leading Global consultancy, is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding projects team on a long-term contract based at Uxbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of prestigious MEP projects within one of the UK’s busiest and most technically demanding environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for producing mechanical building services designs for a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects. You will support the Mechanical Design Manager, work closely with multidisciplinary design teams, and work closely with the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed mechanical building services designs
- Support the Mechanical Design Manager in the successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Prepare design calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Coordinate designs with clients, consultants and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure all designs comply with current Building Regulations, British Standards and industry best practice.
- Manage your workload to deliver projects on time and within budget.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer within the Building Services sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services design.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to represent the business in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team.
