Are you an engineering Project Manager who thrives on variety, technical challenge, and seeing complex projects through from start to finish? You’ll take full ownership of projects from sales handover through design, fabrication, and installation — acting as the central point of contact for clients and coordinating across internal teams throughout. It’s a hands‑on role in a close‑knit, experienced engineering business with a strong reputation for quality and long‑term customer relationships.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking project handover from Sales and acting as the main client point of contact
- Surveying customer sites and defining project scope
- Producing GA concepts and briefing the Drawing Office
- Coordinating design, fabrication, and installation activities
- Managing project schedules, materials, costs, and hired equipment
- Supporting safe systems of work and installation planning
- Reviewing completed projects and feeding learning back into the business
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience managing projects in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and confidence reading technical drawings
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset — comfortable in a hands‑on engineering setting
- Right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence
