About The Job
As a senior business analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the scrum team working on the Replacing CMS Programme. Your collaboration with User‑Centred Design and Accessibility colleagues will be crucial to ensure that all products and services are developed with the end users’ needs at the forefront, guaranteeing solutions that are fit for purpose and highly effective.
Responsibilities
- Seek out and tackle issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits, facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders.
- Responsible for elicitation and documentation of requirements; facilitate setting business priorities for change initiatives and manage requests for changes to baseline requirements.
- Investigate, document, and analyse current business processes; identify alternatives, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches.
- Assess the potential benefit to the organisation of specific technologies, products, methods and techniques; investigate these in detail and recognise further avenues of research.
- Identify the strategic implications of future business changes and apply appropriate modelling and analysis tools, methods, and standards effectively.
- Create acceptance criteria, often using Behavioural Driven Development, to ensure new services are thoroughly tested.
- Model processes using established techniques, understanding their purpose and impact.
- Actively contribute to and collaborate within the Business Analysis Community of Practice, providing coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Person Specification
To Be Eligible To Apply, You Need To
- Qualification – Accredited Agile Business Analysis or Business Analysis.
- Experience – Capturing and defining business needs, user needs and requirements management.
- Technical skills – Business Modelling.
It is desirable that you have the following experience, but this is not required to apply:
- Agile methodology.
- Working with user‑centred design principles.
