Eligibility

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
  • Serve as the home’s nurse expert, combining nursing skills with managerial and leadership responsibilities
  • Focus on residents with complex needs, ensuring compliance with the latest guidelines, making far‑reaching decisions and maintaining high levels of clinical governance while regularly auditing practices and procedures
  • Develop care plans and conduct assessments
  • Look after all residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
  • Good clinical skills
  • Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home

Salary and Benefits

The successful Deputy Manager will receive a salary of £55,000 per annum. This permanent full‑time role is for 40 hours a week, working through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following benefits:
