Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor or CILEX to join a well-established and highly regarded employment team. The role involves working on a broad range of employment matters for a diverse client base, including insurers, businesses, consumers and institutions, handling both claimant and respondent work. The caseload is varied and offers exposure to complex and technical employment issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of employment litigation, handling all aspects of litigation for insurance, business, consumer and institutional clients.
- Provide strategic, practical, and technical guidance on complex employment issues, supporting colleagues and driving the development of the team.
- Liaise with insurer clients and claims handlers, ensuring effective communication and meeting deadlines.
- Build and maintain client relationships, acting commercially aware and client-focused.
- Contribute to the overall development of the employment group.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience in employment law, with a strong track record in employment litigation.
- Demonstrated experience working with insurer clients and liaising with claims handlers.
- Strong commercial awareness, client focus and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative approach and proactive, solutions‑driven mindset.

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum
