Step Into a Role That Goes Beyond Security. Take your SIA career further with Mitie’s Emergency Response Team at the home of MINI production in Oxford. This is not a standard guarding role. You will be part of a multi‑skilled, highly trained team responsible for emergency response, fire safety, environmental incidents, and advanced first aid within a fast‑paced, high‑profile manufacturing environment.

If you want more responsibility, training, and a role where your actions have real impact, this is where you build that future.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work at a prestigious automotive site – supporting a globally recognised brand
  • Gain specialist training – develop skills across fire response, incident management, and advanced first aid
  • Earn recognised qualifications – build a career, not just a job
  • Be part of an elite team – work alongside professionals who take pride in high standards
  • Clear progression opportunities – open pathways across security, fire, and emergency response roles
  • Excellent earning potential – competitive salary with consistent overtime opportunities

Main Duties

As an Emergency Response Officer, you will play a critical role in keeping people, property, and operations safe.

  • Provide a high‑visibility, proactive security presence across the site
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to fire alarms, medical incidents, and environmental emergencies
  • Support and actively contribute to the Emergency Response Team, including training and daily planning
  • Maintain and inspect specialist emergency equipment to operational standards
  • Conduct internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security procedures

This is a role where no two days are the same, and staying calm, acting quickly, and making decisions matters.
