An award-winning multidisciplinary design practice seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its expanding team. The practice delivers innovative and technically challenging projects across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, leisure, student accommodation and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. With a strong focus on design quality, technical excellence and collaborative working, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural projects from concept design through to completion
  • Manage project programmes, deliverables and design coordination
  • Prepare and review planning, technical and construction drawing packages
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality requirements
  • Oversee compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and industry standards
  • Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team
  • Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits as required
  • Contribute to project problem-solving and technical design development throughout all project stages

Qualifications

  • Qualified Architect with relevant post-qualification experience delivering projects in the UK
  • Experience leading projects through multiple RIBA work stages
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with BIM experience advantageous
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery
  • Comfortable working in a fully office-based role, five days per week
  • Ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression within a multidisciplinary practice
