Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham. The Job Title will support the delivery of building services projects and maintenance work, collaborating with colleagues, clients, and external partners to ensure high standards of service. Day-to-day responsibilities may include planning and organizing tasks, monitoring project progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and following company procedures and health and safety requirements. The role involves contributing to problem-solving, supporting continuous improvement, and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to work reliably on-site, manage their workload efficiently, and uphold Dodd Group’s values and commitment to quality.
Qualifications
- experience in building services domestic property maintenance, with strong practical and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical information, project documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures and safe working practices on-site.
- Stromg IT skills for using email, project systems, and digital documentation.
- Relevant vocational training or professional certification in a building services–related discipline is beneficial.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
