Administration Assistant – Paediatric Education Team

Band 3 – 1 post

37.5 hours a week covering a 7 day period inclusive of bank holidays.

Hours of work: 08:30-16:30 pm

We are recruiting a Team Administrator to provide high‑quality administration and clerical support to the Paediatric Education Team located at Lansdowne Health Centre, Winson Green, Birmingham B18 7EE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Paediatric Education Team.
  • Manage clinical records and ensure data protection compliance.
  • Maintain electronic patient records, staff diaries, a team inbox and coordinate stock orders.
  • Produce invoices to external clients for training and help with purchase orders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational, communication, digital and time‑management skills.
  • Forward‑thinking, team‑oriented, proactive in developing own skills and managing workload effectively.
  • Experience with clinical records management, data protection, electronic patient records, staff diaries, inboxes and stock ordering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, Sway). Advantageous to know Slido and Wordwall.
  • Experience raising invoices and purchase orders is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
