About the Role
Are you a recently qualified Occupational Therapist looking to embark on a rewarding career, where you are supported in everything you do? If so, join Pinhoe View in Exeter on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract.
Pinhoe View is a purpose‑built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats. You will be part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork and will enjoy hands‑on experience, receiving guidance and supervision from experienced healthcare professionals. Under supervision, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence‑based group and individual programmes and creating individual rapports with service users to empower recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OT assessments.
- Plan, review, and facilitate evidence‑based group and individual OT treatment programmes under supervision.
- Identify and action referrals under supervision.
- Create and maintain individual treatment plans and records following professional standards.
- Engage with service users, staff and community resources to support recovery and empowerment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- UK HCPC registration or a current application.
- Recent graduate status or entering your first role in OT.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
