They are now seeking a Part-Time Accountant to join their friendly team based in Chesham, offering hybrid working and flexible hours.
This is a permanent, part-time role (20–25 hours per week), ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
The Role
You will manage your own portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounting and tax support across a range of services.Key responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of SME and individual clients• Preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns, and self-assessment tax returns• Acting as the main point of contact for client queries• Supporting clients with business and software guidance• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and deadlines• Working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent client service
Requirements:
• AAT qualified, ACCA part-qualified/qualified, or QBE• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice• Confident managing your own client portfolio• Strong communication and client-facing skills• Comfortable working in a small, supportive team
