Job Title: Leadership + Management Trainer

Salary: Circa £58,000 per annum (full‑time equivalent), pro rata

Location: Remote

Type of Role: Part Time 2 days per week / Permanent

** Travel expected to our offices, HO in Northampton and offices in London / Nursery settings**

Purpose of the Role

The Leadership & Management Training Manager plays a central role in Bright Horizons UK’s Talent & Development team, partnering with the Head of Talent & Development to design, deliver and evaluate high‑quality leadership and management training from Level 2 to Level 7, including senior leadership.

The role focuses on creating academically grounded, research‑informed and inspirational learning experiences, delivered through face‑to‑face, digital and accredited programmes, including Senior Leader Forums and psychometric assessment.

Responsibilities include ensuring training quality and compliance, analysing data to measure impact, producing meaningful reporting, and identifying leadership development trends. The post‑holder works collaboratively with leaders across the business, providing flexible support to align leadership development with organisational strategy, safeguarding standards and Bright Horizons’ policies and procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Analyse Talent data to deliver training needs analysis

• Design and deliver leadership training both face‑to‑face and virtually

• Measure and report training impact against leadership competencies, audit outcomes and Ofsted results

• Provide expert guidance on Talent & Development pathways for leaders and managers

• Promote HEART values to drive quality improvement and service excellence

• Build strong relationships to support successful leadership programme delivery

• Deliver leadership development initiatives in collaboration with HR, Operations and senior leaders

• Lead psychometric assessments and strategy, ensuring data privacy

• Support succession planning, retention and promotion outcomes through measurable talent programmes

• Act as a credible internal and external figurehead for Leadership & Management

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience delivering training to early‑career through executive audiences, designing face‑to‑face and digital learning within medium/large organisations

• Proven ability to create challenging senior leadership content, blending theory with real‑world application

• Skilled facilitator, able to manage challenging discussions and maintain a positive learning environment

• Strong track record of designing and delivering leadership and management training at all levels

• Demonstrated success in driving quality improvement through effective training interventions, working closely with operational and UK leadership teams

• Experience in developing high‑performing leaders who inspire teams and deliver results

• Ability to produce clear, concise training materials tailored to diverse audiences

• Confident use of IT and data to support training delivery, quality monitoring and impact measurement

• Experience delivering Senior Leadership (Level 7/Postgraduate) apprenticeship or work‑based learning standards

• Strong knowledge of Leadership & Management apprenticeship standards

• Experience leading and influencing large teams in a corporate environment

• Experience with psychometric assessments to support individual and team development (desirable)

• Knowledge of the Early Years sector (desirable)

Essential Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence

• Broad academic education, including Maths and English at GCSE or Level 3 equivalent

• First Degree in Leadership & Management or a related subject (essential)

• MA/MSc/MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Leadership & Management, or a related discipline, demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge and academic grounding (essential)

• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD)

• Training Qualification at Level 3 or equivalent (essential)

• Member or Fellow of ILM/CMI or similar professional body (desirable)

• Qualified Coach (desirable)
