We Are Looking For

A highly skilled SIA‑Licensed Relief Security Officer based in Speke, Merseyside. The successful candidate will receive training and work at several client premises, providing holiday and sickness cover with the possibility of a fixed shift pattern when positions become available.

Hours are flexible and may include days, nights and weekends.

What You Will Need

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential
  • A Valid SIA CCTV Licence – desirable
  • Confidence and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Software packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport
  • Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What Are You Going To Do

  • Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements
  • Ensure all visitors and contractors to the site are correctly briefed, sign in and out
  • Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures
  • Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards
  • Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable
  • Comply with site waste management procedures
  • Complete required documents, including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports
  • Review Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal so that your skills remain up to date, especially first aid and fire marshal training, in accordance with legislative guidelines
  • Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA licence must always be displayed
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed
