Independent Mental Health & Community Support Worker

• Supporting individuals with daily living and community access• Providing emotional support and promoting independence• Supporting people during periods of anxiety or crisis using de-escalation techniques• Encouraging participation in social and community activities• Recording accurate care notes and reporting concerns• Following care plans and risk assessments• Working professionally with families and healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Experience in mental health, community care or support work (preferred)
• Calm and confident approach in challenging situations
• Excellent communication skills
• Compassionate and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Good written documentation skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete mandatory training
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
