We are working with a welcoming and well‑established primary school in Barnet seeking a full‑time Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development in Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities

The role will involve full class responsibility within a Year 5 class, including planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons across the curriculum, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2
• Be confident with planning, assessment and pupil progress
• Be a strong classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management
• Be proactive, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for ECTs.
