Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled individual who enjoys working with people, who can take a lead role in the business development of Adult Education delivery. You will lead a small team of Careers Information Advice and Guidance Officers as well as managing the Business Development Officer, in supporting learners with their career aspirations and developing commercial opportunities for the Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Skilled at networking and identifying opportunities for business growth
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Attending key events to drive brand awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Manage teams to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Be highly organized with a pro-active approach to driving the Service forward

What will be expected from me?

You should be confident and able to network with a range of stakeholders both in the public, private and community sectors. This role will be crucial in developing new business opportunities that engage, recruit and support learners to reach their potential.
