Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets and conduct statistics to identify cost control and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Support development and maintenance of databases used for invoice validation, cost reconciliation, and supplier portfolio management.
  • Maintain and distribute relevant information and reports to stakeholders.
  • Produce and keep documentation pertaining to reporting, data pipelines, and databases up to date.
  • Respond to incoming queries on reports and various data requests.
  • Interrogate and validate data sets in development environments to ensure they match source data and requirements.
  • Maintain procedures and controls required to manage the data sets.
  • Interact regularly with front, middle and back office teams.
  • Ensure on-time validation of group expenditure or incomes from electricity supply agreements and incentives through a dedicated invoice validation system.
  • Produce and maintain documentation on the invoice validation system.
  • Provide timely information to front-office and operational teams to manage group energy contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with SQL (beneficial but not essential).
  • Exposure to energy markets (not essential but highly beneficial).
