An ambitious secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham is seeking a dedicated Sixth Form Pastoral Support Officer to join their Sixth Form team from September 2026. This is a full‑time, long‑term role where you will play a key part in supporting student achievement, wellbeing, and future aspirations.

You will act as a central point of contact for students, parents/carers, and external agencies, helping to create a culture of high expectations, strong communication, and student success.

The Role

• Support the Head of Sixth Form and Senior Leadership Team in managing the Sixth Form cohort.
• Act as the first point of contact for students, parents/carers, and external agencies.
• Monitor and update student data relating to behaviour, attendance, punctuality, and safeguarding.
• Analyse attendance and behaviour data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions.
• Support re‑engagement sessions and attendance follow‑up where required.
• Liaise with tutors, staff, parents, and external agencies to support student wellbeing and progress.
• Organise meetings, reports, references, and communication with families.
• Support Sixth Form events, assemblies, enrichment activities, and study programmes.
• Supervise students during independent study and at key points throughout the school day.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, engagement, and presentation across the Sixth Form.
